December 11

Greetings! The weather has been nutty all week. The old saying of "if you don't like the weather in Vermont, wait a minute" has been true. Monday (my birthday!) was 2 degrees, Wednesday is was pouring rain and 50. Cold again today and a big storm is due tonight and tomorrow. All this flopping (and being a bit run down) gave me a horrible head cold all week. Ug...not one who's usually sick, I don't like it! I think the worst is over now though.

Many of you requested the pattern for the Pixie Mitts aka Pixie Warmers. The pattern was from Ravelry, though originally came from this blog:

I, along with other women, were part of the Knitting Contessa's 'Knitting Chrisstmas'. See me here:

Be sure to read the other interviews too!
I started a new blanket/throw. A gorgeous pattern by Jared Flood aka Brooklyntweed. He's amazing, and I'm really enjoying it so far.

I'm forwarding pictures of Taylor's kitties to Allison....hope she can upload them! How adorable!!! Benway & Hank....too cute.
Been a long day....let's all remember to take good care of ourselves during this sometimes stressful time of year. That said...knit on good women!

Martha.
