Greetings!
It was a busy week. I watched a lot of the presidential coverage on Tuesday, and went to Northeast Fiber Arts for a inaugural knit- in that evening! Ten of us were there and I had a blast. Did you all see Pete Seeger sing with his grandson and Bruce Springsteen!? It was great...and some of us are trying to come up with a pattern similar to great hat he was wearing....
I'm working on a Celtic knotwork hat along with my former swap package gal on Ravelry. What fun...like a pen pal, only knitting! We're having fun indeed! I finished up a wool shawl I've been working on and love it. It's a great size. I used Jitterbug yarn in a variegated black and a variegated sage green. Garter stitch boarder. I'm doing another shawl out of the Noro variegated sock yarn, hope to finish that up this week. I have added Wednesday evening yoga to my Friday mornings and am happy I'm taking the time.
It's been cold, but some sun here and there. I've had some great snowshoeing this winter but look forward to cross-country skiing as well. This weekend we're expecting another blast of bitter cold.
Thanks for the feedback on the new Addison County Bag. I'll have more for next week. Here is what last weeks recipient had to say about it!

For those of you who have been wanting to see an Annie's Sock Bag...(no there isn't one tonight) but I did put together a small 'sock size' bag that I really like. I might make more of this style as well...yet to be named.
Got to run....knit on good women!
Martha.
