June 25,

Greetings! Whew, it's hot..... finally summer has arrived. I had a busy week.... Saturday I took my mom to the Shelburne Museum and we saw a great motorcycle exhibit along with some quilts I'd never seen which must be new to their collection. Sunday was Father's Day which was fun as the boys came out to have some time with Paul. Older son brought beer and a glider (yes, they played with it) and Woody brought homemade peanut butter cookies. I think this afternoon they're swimming in some river, somewhere!
I finished up the neck cowl I've been working on and am very pleased!
My evening bike rides are such a joy for me.... I head out about 8:45 and ride around until 9:30 ish. It hit me last night that it's like being a kid in that I'm not doing it for exercise, or to necessarily get anywhere.... its just riding around simply because it's fun~
I started a pretty leaf patterned scarf with a friend on Ravery and am proud to say I'm using some stash yarn :) ... what a fun pattern! I also wanted to share the bag that my yoga teacher made for me. She was presented with a hide, and gifted me this lovely and most treasured bag.
Also, my older son has been working very hard on a project (with a friend of his) so.... if you like the arts, and like to support young people working on their passion, please see these links.... thanks. He has two of his writings in the book.
