Green Mountain Knitting Bags

Greetings!
Hope you all had a good week. I sent out a few custom bags this week, but did manage to get a good selection finished for tonight. I picked up the next batch of leather shoulder straps and chose three different shades. There will be a brief description of each, but really... whatever color you like will no doubt go with any fabric. That's the beauty of leather, it's so versatile. I wanted to show you all a few pictures of Champlain Leather. He now is making these gorgeous hassocks! They're big and I laughed as I recognized many of the fabrics he chose... he also makes some of them entirely out of leather. The tops are removable with lots of storage space inside. What a beautiful place to house your stash! See them (and more) here:

I received a lovely email this morning from one of my 'regulars' and she's shown here with author Debbie Macomber.

She made sure to have her GMKB with her... her pretty little Hybrid! So much fun for me to see..... thanks Gayle!

I didn't have much time to knit this week, but was early to yoga yesterday so managed a few rows before class. I was up late last night, but finally got into bed around 12:30. I read for just a bit... and as soon as I was asleep, I heard our 16 year old cat, Abby, cry outside. It was a guttural sound, with trilling meows and I knew something was up. So I went downstairs, opened the door, and in she runs with a dead mouse that she was so proud to present to me. I gave her proper kudos (or so I thought) and decided I was way too tired to deal with it... I'd toss it in the morning. So back to bed I went, only to have her start up again... got out of bed, and there she was (with it) at the foot of the stairs. So... again with the praise, and necessary pats and rubs. Out they BOTH went. And I chuckled on my way back to bed thinking she's really no different than any of us wanting to show off our lovely finished knitted wares.... Look, look, look... no, really look!
We love this time of year and really enjoy jumping on our bikes to ride up to the upper pond on our road after dinner. Evenings are so beautiful and everything is so lush and green. We saw the Canada Geese and they're down to just two little ones.

Have a good week every one. I need to get some good knitting in. So let's knit on good women... till next time~

Martha.
