October 1 Greetings & rabbit-rabbit! We had our first hard frost up on the hill and the pellet stove has been burning..... the colors are lovely and the pumpkins are ripe. Our town had its annual Harvest Festival on Saturday and it was fun to head down and visit. Great music & good old friends..... I was very good and didn't purchase any yarn, is that good? ;) I've worked steadily on my crocheted blanket and only have one more row to go, and then the boarder... I'm so excited to see it finished, but think I'll want to block it before the boarder is stitched. I picked up yarn to knit Paul a hat (it's been a few years) so I'll be starting that this weekend (if I can pt the blanket down). Our older son turns 23 on Saturday so tomorrow we're having a gathering here for dinner, should be fun! |
