Green Mountain Knitting Bags

September 24

Greetings! I'm back from Nantucket .... rested. We had a great time, biked a lot! Actually, with the car on the mainland we had to bike or walk wherever we went which was great, especially since I ate anything I wanted! The weather was amazing... three gorgeous days. We hadn't been in eight years, and usually we'd stay away from town..... but town was fun. It was warm, and the flowers were beautiful as they're a few weeks behind us. I knit, and read and explored, it was so nice. I found the one yarn shop on the island (but, of course) and was thrilled to find a great thrift shop where I was lucky enough to grab up some vintage knitting pattern books, one being a Vogue-Knit from the 40's. But, being the homebody that I am, I'm delighted to be back. Once emails were checked and unpacking complete, I was back in my studio last night getting ready for today. Between what I'd put aside along with working last night and today, I'm happy to offer six bags. Right back on track next week.....
In today's mail came a set of Harmony needles, a gift from one of my treasured customers! Thank you so much Tammy! I was thrilled and have never tried them. The size is great (size 8 DBL points) and they are beautiful and smooth smooth smooth..... :) Can't wait to give them a go. We came home to rain, cooler air and cooler nights, but that's just fine.... it's home, and I love it. Can't wait to get back to yoga and my usual way of eating! Good to sew again too.... The color is really starting in, including some pretty raspberry shades, my favorite!
Thanks for all the anniversary well wishes (!) and welcome to the new gals who created carts this week.... let's knit on good women!

Cheers to time away, and the welcoming warmth of home.

Till next week~
Martha.
